Job summary

Munters is seeking an Electrical Panel Shop Cell Lead at our US Daleville (VA) facility. You will build electrical panels and supervise the shop, directing daily tasks and ensuring quality at ship dates. You will also promote safety, record daily labor, and train team members to meet production goals.

The role requires blueprint/schematic reading, electrical aptitude, and prior panel shop experience. This is a full-time on-site position with overtime as needed to support production targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Blueprint and schematic reading required.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred.
• Prior electrical wireperson or panel shop experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assists electrical panel shop employees with daily work assignments.
• Ensures panels are built per schedule to meet ship dates and labor targets.
• Records daily labor and maintains in-process check sheets as required.
• Promotes safety and enforces PPE and safe practices.

Additional work area assignments may apply.Promoting safety daily making sure the environment is safe at all times. Responsible for entering labor daily accurately and truthful. Capability to lead and train employees in your department. Making sure that all tasks given are completed daily through production. Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Help keep a positive atmosphere amongst employees. Have the drive to meet any and all expectations given by supervisor daily, weekly and monthly for production. Producing accurate hours in jobs and meeting the allotted hours given to your department. Assure that the work has the best quality. Performing punch lists through checkmate (Will be trained). Giving accurate information on tollgates and training.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following but are not limited to:* Ensures electrical panels are built per the production schedule to meet scheduled ship dates and planned labor targets.* Directs and assists electrical panel shop employees with daily work assignments.* Ensures daily labor is entered and inprocess check sheets are completed as required.* Responsible for safety awareness and enforcement of safety practices (including the use of PPE).* Assists supervisor with skills and knowledge development of existing and new employees.* Additional duties may be assigned with production floor electrical wiring, assembly & other areas as deemed necessary.**REQUIRED EDUCATION:** Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.**SKILL REQUIREMENTS:** Blueprint and schematic reading, use of measuring devices and good mechanical and electrical aptitude, use of hand and power tools. Prior experience as an electrical wireperson and or experience in the electrical panel shop is required.**TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:** Munters Corp Orientation, Quality and Safety Assurance Awareness, Electrical.**HOURS OF WORK:** Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production needs.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS****:** Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.**Equal Opportunity Employer:** We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
