Job summary

Lake Compounce is seeking a Full-time Rides Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair amusement rides and related equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safe operation of park attractions. The role requires physical stamina, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Starting pay is $25/hour with opportunities for growth. The position includes benefits and requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends,

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of maintenance or mechanical experience
• Experience performing maintenance on roller coasters, amusement rides, or attractions desirable but not required

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-opening inspections of attractions and property
• Diagnose and correct mechanical issues
• Respond to trouble calls with urgency
• Maintain the property in a safe, presentable condition
• Perform repairs as per manufacturer requirements
• Complete preventative maintenance and system servicing
• Schedule repair, maintenance and installation of equipment to ensure operations
• Use PPE as required
• Keep storage areas clean and organized
• Complete repair orders promptly
• Inform leadership of corrective issues as needed
• Perform any other duties assigned by leadership
