Job summary

Como Town is seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and handle electrical duties at the 4-acre amusement park adjacent to Como Zoo. Must be able to work weekends and contribute to safe, reliable operation of rides and facilities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical systems, calibrating equipment, and keeping logs up to date. Overtime may be required during peak periods; compensation is listed below.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of amusement park equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Wamiliar with electrical work and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on attractions, rides, and equipment.
• Inspect systems, test, verify, and calibrate mechanical components.
• Respond to downtime, repair, and ride recovery issues promptly.
• Diagnose failures and source parts and instructions for repair.
• Consult manuals and use a systematic approach for repairs.
• Maintain ride logs and document inspections, actions, and parts used.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and ensure safety practices.
