Como Town seeks a versatile Maintenance Technician to help maintain equipment, building systems, preventive maintenance, and food service gear at a 4-acre amusement park adjacent to the Como Zoo. Weekend availability is required.

The role covers troubleshooting mechanical systems, inspections, ride downtime response, and keeping logs and shop areas organized. We value safety, teamwork, and reliability in maintaining guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and electrical tasks.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on attractions and equipment.
• Test, verify, and calibrate mechanical systems.
• Respond to downtime and ride recovery issues.
• Diagnose failures and source replacement parts.
• Consult manuals to repair systems.
• Record inspections and repairs in ride logs.
• Maintain safe work habits and PPE usage.
• Keep records organized and accessible.
• Assist with inventory and shop cleanliness.
• Overtime may be required during peak periods.
