Job summary

Tri-County Action Program in Waite Park, MN is hiring for a full-time dispatcher/scheduler to manage a bustling work environment with a calm, customer-focused approach. You will answer calls, schedule rides, and coordinate with drivers to optimize routes and service delivery.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of related experience in dispatching, scheduling or customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and office technology.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, show good judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information.
• Schedule rides and assign to bus routes using navigation software.
• Communicate trip assignments and monitor routes with drivers.
• Review schedules for accuracy and efficiency; adjust to reduce ride time.
• Record ride denials for planning and reporting.
• Complete data reporting for rides and billing requirements.
• Serve as liaison between customers and drivers for additions or cancellations.
