Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of dispatching/scheduling experience; bilingual skills (Spanish or Somali) are a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years' experience in dispatching/scheduling or related field.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office technology.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service and accurate information.
• Schedule rides and assign to appropriate bus routes using navigation software.
• Communicate trip assignments to drivers and monitor routes for efficiency.
• Preview schedules and adjust to reduce ride time and maximize productivity.
• Record and maintain ride denials for future planning.
• Complete data reporting for rides and billing requirements.
• Serve as liaison between customers and drivers for additions, cancellations and payments.
• Maintain relationships with community partners.
