Job summary

Sesame Place in California is seeking an Ambassador to maintain rides and ensure guest safety. You will conduct daily ride inspections and perform preventative maintenance to keep attractions operating reliably.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment, providing excellent service, and upholding safe work habits and PPE requirements. Must be 18+, with 3 years’ related experience and a CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• California driver’s license required.

What you get to do:

You’ll be responsible for performing all general maintenance of rides in order to provide a safe environment for guests and team members alike. We’re looking to you to make sure our rides are good to go!

You will:

• Conduct daily ride inspections
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
• Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
• Provide excellent service to guests and team members
• Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations

What it takes to succeed:

• A minimum of 3 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have and maintain a valid California driver’s license; out of state residents, active military, their dependents and students, are required to have a valid driver’s license from their state of residency and provide a copy of the DMV report.

Tool Ownership and Storage:

Candidates for this position are required to provide their own set of tools and a secure storage solution for these tools.

Compensation:

37.00 USD Hourly Starting Base Pay: 37.00
