Job summary

SeaWorld Orlando is seeking an Assistant Supervisor, Ride Technician to lead a team of ride technicians in daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance. You will coordinate workload, ensure proper procedures, and support a fast-paced park environment.

The role requires hands-on mechanical experience with rides, strong communication skills, and the ability to work varying shifts, including openings and closings at the park.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of rides or mechanical experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain company driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Stand for entire shift and work at heights up to 385 ft; climb stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Utilize electronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills as related to all rides.
• Be a team leader, setting good examples for team members in promoting good safety practices.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all rides.
• Organize and plan daily workload of team; supervise technicians.
• Keep working areas neat, clean, and tidy.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
