Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando, FL is seeking enthusiastic Ambassadors to support ride maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety processes. You will lead a technician team, manage daily workloads, and maintain clean, safe work areas while ensuring high quality ride performance.

The role requires hands-on mechanical experience with pneumatic/hydraulic systems and the ability to work varied shifts around park hours. Join a team dedicated to memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of rides or mechanical experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain company license.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders.
• Lift 50 pounds; push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 385 ft.
• Able to walk uphill and on a 35-40 degree slope.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Comfortable working in and around water.
• Meet ride requirements and be comfortable test-riding rides.
• Available to work varying shifts based on park hours.
• Certified in park rides green tag procedures and competency tested.
• Cross-trained in other maintenance fields.

Responsibilities

• Utilize electronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills as related to all rides
• Be a team leader, setting good examples for team members in the promotion of good work performance, following guidelines of company and promoting good safety practices
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all rides
• Organize and plan daily workload of team; supervise all work performance of technicians
• Keep working areas neat, clean, and tidy
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required
