Job summary

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a Ride Technician Team Leader for the LEGOLAND Florida park. The role leads a team performing safety-critical inspections and preventive maintenance on rides and attractions, with 75% field work and hands-on responsibility.

The position supports Ride Maintenance Supervisors, directs the wider team, and acts as Technical Services Duty Manager when required. Night shifts and weekend/holiday coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• Four years of electromechanical maintenance experience required.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex ride systems and equipment.
• Lead, mentor, and train technicians; 75% field work.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance across operations.
• Respond to emergencies and support park operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to perform safety inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Schedule and track work orders; communicate risks and ensure timely action.
• train new technicians and uphold workshop standards.
• Maintain ride equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe state.
• Collaborate with departments to support park operations.
