Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Mechanical Structural Engineer to enhance reliability and operational improvements of theme park rides. The role involves overseeing projects from design to installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of experience in engineering dynamic motion systems. You will work closely with ride supervisors and provide ongoing engineering support for all Ride & Show systems across the park.

Qualifications

• 7+ years project engineering experience in mechanical structural systems.
• Strong experience with AC and DC motors and motor control systems.
• Knowledgeable in NEC, AWS, ASTM, and F24 standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs redesign and development of mechanical structural systems.
• Manages projects from design through installation including testing.
• Interfaces with ride supervisors to resolve design issues.
