Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to lead moderately complex design and development tasks for ride and show control systems with emphasis on reliability, safety, and serviceability.

You will troubleshoot electromechanical systems, perform fault analysis, and coordinate with Engineering, Ride & Show, and Operations to implement robust control solutions, while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in control systems with PLCs and downtime recovery.
• Experience with fault analysis, design changes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provides and implements control solutions to improve ride/show reliability and safety.
• Troubleshoots electromechanical systems and analyzes faults for downtime recovery.
• Generates engineering documentation and coordinates with teams for changes.
