Job summary

Six Flags St. Louis is seeking energetic team members to join the Rides team. You must be at least 16 years old and able to work on weekends; we will fit shifts to your schedule and offer a fun, fast-paced environment with free park entry.

As a ride operator you will assist guests, operate controls, and reinforce safety policies while maintaining a clean, guest-first service standard. This role is outdoors in varying weather; strong teamwork and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 and older.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Professional, self-motivated with enthusiastic attitude and ability to multi-task.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with others.
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs and push 30 lbs.
• Good oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests in loading/unloading the ride and check restraining devices.
• Operate the ride’s control panel where applicable.
• Observe ride in motion for guest safety.
• Inform Guests of ride safety policies.
• Follow Six Flags St. Louis safety policies and maintain a clean environment.
• Maintain Six Flags’ Guest First Standards.
• Perform other duties as deemed by management.

Responsibilities

• Must assist Guests in the loading and unloading of the ride and check various restraining devices
• Operate the ride’s control panel where applicable
• Must observe the ride while it is in motion for the safety of the guests
• Inform Guests of the safety policies for the ride
• Observe and follow all Six Flags St. Louis Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Maintain Six Flags’ Guest First Standards
• Responsible for completing other duties as deemed necessary by management

• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
• Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40-50 lbs and push a minimum weight of 30 lbs
