Job summary

Six Flags St. Louis is hiring for a Rides team member to assist guests with loading and unloading rides, observe safety protocols, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. The role requires outdoor work in varying weather and strong teamwork.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and available for weekend shifts, with a professional, motivated attitude and solid communication skills. Training will cover safety policies and guest-first service standards.

• Professional, self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with others.
• Good oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in loading/unloading the ride and check restraining devices.
• Operate the ride’s control panel where applicable.
• Observe the ride to ensure guest safety.
• Inform guests of safety policies for the ride.
• Follow Six Flags St. Louis Safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Uphold Six Flags’ Guest First Standards.
• Complete other duties as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Must assist Guests in the loading and unloading of the ride and check various restraining devices
• Operate the ride’s control panel where applicable
• Must observe the ride while it is in motion for the safety of the guests
• Inform Guests of the safety policies for the ride
• Observe and follow all Six Flags St. Louis Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Maintain Six Flags’ Guest First Standards
• Responsible for completing other duties as deemed necessary by management

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 16
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
• Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40-50 lbs and push a minimum weight of 30 lbs
• Good oral communication skills
