Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point is seeking a Reading In the Discipline Group Leader, a student hourly role within the Tutoring-Learning Center (TLC). You will lead RID groups and help manage course records while supporting fellow students.

Qualifications include sophomore or junior standing, at least one UWSP semester completed, and a 3.0 GPA (3.5 preferred). Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior standing preferred.
• Must have completed at least one semester at UWSP.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.5 and higher preferred).
• Must have earned an A or A- in parent-course (or similar content).
• Good interpersonal skills and strong organizational and time management.
• Ability to adhere to policies, deadlines, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leading RID groups by facilitating discussions, assigning writings, and maintaining records.
• Attending orientation, trainings, and meetings in the TLC.
• Carrying out TLC and RID procedures and communicating with RID staff.
• Submitting hours and records in WorkDay by required dates.
• Returning borrowed materials to bookstore, professor, and TLC.
