Job summary

Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart, Arkansas, is hiring a Mill Operator for a 12-hour rotating swing shift. The role involves operating, inspecting, and maintaining rice milling equipment, and ensuring products meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math and measurement skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, read tape measure)
• Must possess basic mechanical skills (screwdrivers, wrenches, clamps, etc.)
• Must possess good communication skills to communicate with Whitener Trainee and Shift Supervisor
• Must possess basic computer skills and be willing to be trained in operating equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain milling equipment to ensure proper function and product specifications
• Clean and sanitize the mill area; perform dry cleaning using compressed air and sweeping as required
• Maintain production, inspection, maintenance and sanitation records and notify supervisor of quality or safety issues
