Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Patient Services Associate in Scottsdale, AZ to serve as the first point of contact for patients in the Rheumatology department. You will handle clerical duties, patient registration, scheduling, and data entry while coordinating with physicians’ offices.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, PACS imaging support, and assisting with chart maintenance and billing processes. Prior experience in healthcare scheduling/registration is preferred and a Fingerprint

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in healthcare or related field preferred.
• 2 years in healthcare scheduling/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and customers; direct to appropriate staff.
• Assist with imaging support duties and PACS image retrieval.
• Schedule procedures and manage appointment calendar; track no-shows.
• Register patients, collect signatures, and coordinate referrals and financial responsibilities.
• Obtain insurance authorization when applicable; collect co-pays and deposits.
• Maintain patient charts and ensure proper chart routing to medical records.
• Monitor and ship daily deposits and billing as needed.
• Maintain office supplies and assist with clerical tasks.
