The Toledo Clinic Rheumatology Department is seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to support a busy office in Toledo, OH. The role combines administrative and clinical duties, working Monday through Thursday 8 am–5 pm and Friday 8 am–1 pm, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus upon credential verification and a potential $2,000 retention bonus after one year of service.

Qualifications include an MA diploma/certificate and an MA credential (CMA/RMA/CCMA).

Qualifications

• Must have MA diploma/certificate and MA credential (CMA/RMA/CCMA).
• Credentialed Medical Assistant with MA diploma or certificate.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient treatment and prep for exams.
• Perform various clerical duties such as scheduling and chart handling.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare rooms for examination.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments; call in prescription refills as needed.
• Follow up with lab work and x‑rays as directed by the physician.
