Job summary

The Toledo Clinic Rheumatology Department is seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to perform both clinical and administrative duties in a busy Toledo office. Hours are Mon-Thu 8-5 and Fri 8-1, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and potential $2,000 retention bonus after one year of service.

Qualified candidates will hold an MA diploma/certificate and an MA credential (RMA/CMA/CCMA). The position is at Main Campus, Toledo, OH, US, reporting to the Office Manager.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Medical Assistant required (CMA/RMA).
• Medical Assisting diploma or certificate required.
• Strong interpersonal and clerical skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and minor procedures.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits.
• Perform clerical tasks: phones, scheduling, chart handling.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain exam room supplies.
• Call in prescription refills as directed by physician.
• Follow up with labs and x-rays as needed.
