Job summary

AbbVie in the United States is seeking a field-based sales professional to execute brand strategy and drive performance across a defined Illinois territory, including Orland Park, Springfield, and Mattoon. You will build relationships with healthcare providers, manage accounts, and place patients at the center of our efforts while adhering to AbbVie’s policies and ethics.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, pharmaceutical industry experience, and proven selling and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health/science/business preferred.
• 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical/health industry preferred.
• Proven track record in selling and strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet KPI targets in the assigned territory.
• Create pre-call plans with SMART objectives and evaluate post-call performance.
• Build trusted customer relationships and address provider needs.
• Develop and execute call plans to maximize access and opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence and align with brand and field teams.
