Job summary

AndHealth seeks a board-certified rheumatologist to join our multidisciplinary team delivering care for complex inflammatory arthritis and autoimmune diseases. The physician will manage a growing panel with hybrid virtual and in-person care.

You will lead clinical decision-making, mentor APPs and pharmacists, and collaborate with community partners to expand access to specialty care for underserved populations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in rheumatology is required.
• Unrestricted medical license; Ohio licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship.
• DEA and Basic Life Support certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient evaluations and consultations for complex rheumatology cases.
• Diagnose and manage chronic rheumatic conditions, virtual and in-person.
• Oversee escalated cases via APPs and care team partners.
• Create individualized treatment plans with medical and lifestyle components.
• Educate patients on disease, treatments, and long-term management.
• Identify co-occurring conditions impacting diagnosis or outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and planning.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, CHC and regulatory standards.
