Job summary

Akraya is seeking a contract Linux Security Engineer to maintain the health and security of enterprise Linux systems, focusing on RHEL 8/9. You will execute security compliance tasks, resolve vulnerabilities, and support day-to-day operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate progress and challenges. This 12-month W2 contract requires onsite presence in Kirkland, WA and San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Security remediation and vulnerability management experience.
• Experience with automation using Ansible or Puppet.

Responsibilities

• Execute RHEL 8/9 security remediation and compliance activities.
• Address security vulnerabilities and implement necessary patches.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Linux systems.
