Job summary

HonorVet Technologies seeks an experienced Linux Administrator to manage enterprise Linux infrastructure, focusing on security, automation, and operational health. The role involves CIS remediation, Puppet/Ansible automation, and coordinating with multiple teams.

You will own day-to-day operations of the Linux Center of Expertise, ensuring timely remediation and compliance while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Hybrid work arrangement with two days onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise Linux infrastructure.
• Strong focus on security remediation and compliance.
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks using configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead CIS Level 1/2 remediation for RHEL 8/9.
• Coordinate with owners, infra, security teams for remediation.
• Track progress and manage dependencies and exceptions.
• Prioritize remediation based on security SLAs.
• Validate remediation effectiveness and maintain docs.
