Job summary

Symetra is seeking an RFP Analyst to support the Benefits sales team by logging and coordinating RFPs, gathering underwriting information, and tracking proposals to ensure timely completion.

You will enter RFP data into the database, coordinate with underwriting and sales, and provide backup support to field offices as needed; the role offers hybrid work and a path to grow within a national financial services company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience; college degree a plus.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in RFPs or sales support.
• Familiarity with underwriting information and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit RFP requests for evaluation; enter data into the database.
• Ensure all requirements needed to assess risk are delivered to Underwriting; request information as needed.
• Monitor RFP due dates and manage the process to ensure compliance; coordinate with sales material.
• Provide back-up support to field offices as needed.
• Other tasks or projects as assigned.
