Job summary

The Standard is seeking an experienced RFP Manager to lead the full proposal process, coordinating with sales, marketing, underwriting, legal and other SMEs to deliver accurate, compliant materials in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in project management or RFP support, plus 2+ years in insurance. A bachelor's degree is required, with strong organizational and collaboration skills to drive high-quality customer-ready responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent skills/experience.
• 4+ years of experience project management or supporting RFPs/proposals.
• 2+ years Insurance experience, preferably in employee benefits.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to interpret requirements and produce accurate, customer-ready materials.
• Familiarity with proposal development tools, content libraries, or RFP management systems.
• Ability to work independently on routine to moderately complex projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple RFPs from intake through final submission.
• Collaborate with internal partners to gather information and ensure accuracy of proposal content.
• Develop clear, competitive, and compliant proposal materials aligned with solicitation requirements.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder input in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Recommend process improvements and contribute to enhancing RFP response efficiency.
