Job summary

Astranis in California seeks an RF Validation Associate (Winter 2027) to measure and validate RF hardware performance, including LNAs, power amplifiers, and RF blocks. This 12-week salaried program targets students who have earned a bachelor’s degree or will have one by start date; you will write automation code and document test plans.

Past associates have contributed to space-grade hardware en route to orbit and many have joined Astranis full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/ computer engineering or related field.
• Strong hands-on hardware development in fast-paced environments.
• Solid knowledge of RF concepts (transmission lines, S-parameters).
• Experience with Python and object oriented programming concepts.
• Experience taking RF measurements with RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and validate RF hardware performance (LNAs, amps, filters, etc.).
• Write automation code to speed up measurements.
• Document test plans, methodologies, and data for review.
