Job summary

Astranis is seeking an RF Validation Associate (Winter 2027) to validate hardware performance on RF front-end components. This role involves hands-on measurement, automated data collection, and thorough documentation of methodologies for review.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in electrical engineering or related fields, with strong RF knowledge, Python skills, and a passion for hardware development in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or related technical field.
• Strong passion for hardware development and hands-on design.
• Deep knowledge of RF concepts including transmission lines and S-parameters.
• Experience with Python and OO programming concepts.
• Experience taking RF measurements with RF test equipment.
• Open to applicants who may not meet all criteria.

Responsibilities

• Measure and validate performance of LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, oscillators, etc.
• Write automation code to accelerate measurements.
• Document test plans, methodologies, and data for review.
