Job summary

Astranis is offering a Winter 2027 RF Validation Intern position. You will work on measuring and validating RF hardware performance, including LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, and filters.

You will also write automation code to speed up measurements and document test plans and data for review. Interns are typically twelve weeks, enrolled in a four-year program, and engage in challenging projects within a fast-paced environment at our Northern California headquarters.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or related field.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on design in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong RF knowledge: transmission lines, S-parameters, RF blocks.
• Experience with Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience taking RF measurements with RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and validate RF performance of LNAs, PAs, up/down converters, filters, oscillators.
• Write automation code to speed up measurements.
• Document test plans, methodologies, and data for review.
