Job summary

Astranis is seeking a RF Validation Intern for Winter 2027 in San Francisco. Interns work twelve weeks on challenging RF hardware projects, validating performance of LNAs, amplifiers, up/down converters, and filters, while building automation to speed measurements.

Eligible students must be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's program and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced space hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on design in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of RF concepts: transmission lines, S-parameters, RF blocks.
• Experience with Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience taking RF measurements with RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and validate performance of LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, oscillators.
• Write automation code to speed up measurements.
• Document test plans, methodologies, and data for review.
