Lucix Corporation, a subsidiary of HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group, seeks an experienced Tune and Test Technician to support RF hardware for satellites and airborne systems. Based in California, you will tune and test amplifiers, filters, mixers, and other modules up to 40 GHz, performing diverse environmental tests.

You will troubleshoot DUTs, optimize test stations, and contribute to efficiency improvements, with benefits including healthcare, 401(k), and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience tuning RF amplifiers and modules up to 40 GHz (LNAs/SSPAs, mixers, filters).
• Familiar with environmental tests: vibration, thermal vacuum, thermal cycling, EMI/EMC.
• Knowledge of RF test metrics: 1dB compression, IM3, noise figure, PSAT, harmonics, s-parameters, k-factor, spurious.
• Ability to tune hybrid microwave circuits and PCB-based microwave circuits using wedge bond and gap weld.

Responsabilités

• Tune RF amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, and converters up to 40 GHz.
• Conduct environmental tests (vibration, thermal vacuum, thermal cycling, EMI/EMC) on and offsite.
• Configure and perform tests including 1dB compression, IM3, noise figure, PSAT, harmonics, s-parameters, k-factor, spurious.
• Tune hybrid microwave circuits and PCB microwave circuits.
• Troubleshoot DUTs and test stations down to component level.
• Perform all relevant testing and propose efficiency improvements.
