Job summary

Mercury Systems in Oxnard, CA is seeking a skilled RF test technician to support non-routine tasks ensuring production quality standards. You will perform set-ups, calibration, testing, tuning and troubleshooting of micro-strip circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies to meet specifications.

Requirements include active US military status eligible for SkillBridge, 3+ years of testing and tuning electronic devices, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Active US military member eligible for SkillBridge.
• 3+ years testing and tuning electronic devices.
• Familiar with Windows MS Office.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• US citizen holding, or eligible to obtain, a DoD secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Launching and testing circuits in fixtures to specifications
• Biasing FETs and/or transistors
• Testing and tuning amplifiers from 10MHz to 18GHz
• Participating in continuous improvement and team building
• Applying RF fundamentals including Gain, Gain Flatness, Return Loss, P1 dB, phase
• Proficiency in RF theory and principles
• Testing for gain, noise figure, VSWR, P1dB, IP3 and phase
• Calibration of test equipment
• Tuning and troubleshooting
• Operating DC power supplies, RF signal generators, scalars and network analyzers
• Understanding DC theory (Ohm's Law)
• Following ESD procedures
