Job summary

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking an RF Test Technician to perform quality control and tuning/testing of RF telecom equipment using various testing tools.

This full-time position follows a 5/8 schedule (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) and is in-person only with overtime potential. Responsibilities include testing RF, analog and digital boards, operating network/spectrum analyzers, hi-pot and ground bond equipment, and recording labor hours.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must have basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Must have manual dexterity to handle and solder small parts through magnifying glass or microscope.
• RF experience is strongly preferred.
• Soldering experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, tune and troubleshoot RF, analog and digital circuit boards and products to meet customer specifications.
• Setup and operation of RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, hi-pot and ground bond, oscilloscopes and digital probes.
• Conduct visual and mechanical testing and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and customer specifications; make adjustments as needed.
• Report defective materials, unusual conditions, or equipment malfunctions to the lead test technician.
• Accurately record labor hours and other statistics into the computer database.
