Spectrum Control, Inc. RF Test Technician tests, troubleshoots, and assembles RF/microwave components and modules operating from DC to 40 GHz+ in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Works independently from test procedures, sets up and calibrates test stations, and meets production shipments by tuning and executing manual and automated tests. The position operates on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule with a 3-day weekend, offering competitive wages and PTO.

Qualificações

• Experience tuning and shipping RF modules or 5+ years in RF/microwave testing.
• Able to read block diagrams, schematics and device layouts.
• Experience working under a microscope with small hand tools.
• Solid grasp of RF measurements: return loss, insertion loss, gain, noise figure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Citizenship status allowing potential government security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Test, troubleshoot, and mechanically assemble RF components and modules.
• Meet production shipping deadlines to support site revenue goals.
• Operate lab equipment including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, meters, and scopes.
• Set up and calibrate manual and computer-controlled test stations.
• Perform thermal and environmental testing; debug moderately complex issues.
• Work from schematics, drawings, and test procedures; record data.
• Assemble breadboards, fixtures, and wiring harnesses; light soldering.
• Communicate with assembly staff, engineering, and management.
