Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose is seeking a Test Technician - Level 2 for Day shift to support RF testing of microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies. Responsibilities include RF tuning, data collection, and documenting results for engineering feedback.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 2+ years electronics testing experience, familiarity with microwave test equipment, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Strong attention to detail and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years' experience in basic electronics testing, tuning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters and DVMs.
• Good manual dexterity and experience/willingness to work using a microscope and small hand-tools.
• Good written and verbal skills and ability to carefully follow written instructions.
• Computer skills are required including Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance; must be a US citizen.
• This position requires access to technology controlled by US export laws; you must be a “US Person.”

Responsibilities

• Work in a production environment to perform testing and troubleshooting of microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies and review data for compliance.
• Work in a production environment to perform RF tuning, troubleshooting and testing on MICs and review data for compliance.
• Follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of testing and rework.
• Participate in daily production meetings and interface with manufacturing engineers.
