Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose, CA is seeking an RF Technician to support production of microwave subsystems. The role focuses on microwave circuit alignment, testing, and subsystem verification to meet shipping schedules.

You will work with engineers, document test data, and participate in daily production meetings. Requirements include 3+ years of RF test experience, familiarity with microwave test equipment, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience troubleshooting, testing and tuning RF equipment.
• Familiarity with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters and DVMs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• US Person status required under export laws (or eligible for approval).

Responsibilities

• Work in a production environment to perform testing and troubleshooting of microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies and carefully review data for compliance.
• RF tuning, troubleshooting and testing on multi-function thin film microwave integrated circuits (MICs) and carefully review data for compliance.
• Follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of testing and rework performed.
• Actively participate in daily production meetings and regularly interface with manufacturing engineers.
