Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an RF Technician for our San Jose, CA facility to support microwave subsystems testing and alignment in a production environment. You will engage in tuning, testing and troubleshooting of RF circuits and assemblies, documenting results for engineering feedback. The role emphasizes adherence to production processes, meticulous record-keeping, and collaboration with manufacturing engineers.

U.S. export compliance applies, and the position requires eligibility as a U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience troubleshooting, testing and tuning RF equipment.
• Familiarity with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters and DVMs.
• Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers and experience working under a microscope.
• Good written and verbal skills and ability to carefully follow written instructions.
• Computer skills are required including Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• US Person per export laws.

Responsibilities

• Work in a production environment to perform testing and troubleshooting of microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies and review data for compliance.
• Perform RF tuning, troubleshooting and testing on multi-function MICs and review data for compliance.
• Follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of testing and rework performed.
• Participate in daily production meetings and interface with manufacturing engineers.
