Job summary

Techneeds LLC is seeking a Test Technician - 1st Shift to support production by performing DC and RF testing on completed electronic assemblies to verify they meet specifications. You will work hands-on with RF/microwave test equipment and document results in test reports and lot travelers.

Day-to-day duties include setting up test configurations, running measurements such as gain, insertion loss, and VSWR, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (AS) in a related field or equivalent related experience.
• Hands-on RF/DC bench testing with VNA, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, and power meters.
• Experience performing RF measurements such as gain, insertion loss, and VSWR.
• Experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF/microwave hybrids.
• Ability to work under a microscope for testing and troubleshooting.
• Comfort using hand tools (torque drivers, tweezers).
• Ability to follow work instructions and record results in reports and travelers.
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-750 and MIL-STD-883.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up test configurations for RF and DC testing.
• Run measurements (gain, insertion loss, VSWR) and document results.
• Flag nonconforming material and help address issues quickly.
• Troubleshoot RF/microwave assemblies and adjust as needed.
• Record results clearly in test reports and lot travelers.
