Job summary

Techneeds LLC is seeking a Test Technician - 1st Shift to support production by performing DC and RF testing on completed electronic assemblies to verify they meet specifications. You will work hands-on with RF/microwave test equipment and document results in test reports and lot travelers.

Day-to-day duties include setting up test configurations, running measurements such as gain, insertion loss, and VSWR, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (AS) in a related field or equivalent related experience.
• Hands-on RF/DC bench testing with VNA, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, and power meters.
• Experience performing RF measurements such as gain, insertion loss, and VSWR.
• Experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF/microwave hybrids.
• Ability to work under a microscope for testing and troubleshooting.
• Comfort using hand tools (torque drivers, tweezers).
• Ability to follow work instructions and record results in reports and travelers.
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-750 and MIL-STD-883.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is looking for a/an Test Technician - 1st Shift. In this on-site Test Technician role, you’ll support production by performing DC testing and RF testing on completed electronic assemblies to confirm they meet product specifications. You’ll work hands-on with RF/microwave test equipment—including PNA/VNAs (network analyzers), spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal/frequency sources, power meters, DVMs, power supplies, and curve tracers—and you’ll document results clearly in test reports and lot travelers. Day-to-day, you will set up test configurations, run measurements (gain, insertion loss, VSWR, etc.), troubleshoot issues, and flag nonconforming material so problems are addressed quickly.

Work Schedule:

Flex 1st Shift Schedule, 8-hour shift (5 days/week) - 40 hours/week

Pay Range:

$25.00 - $32.00 DOE.

• Ability to work under a microscope for testing/tuning/troubleshooting (good dexterity required)

• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-750 and MIL-STD-883
