Job summary

GStek, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (I-III) to join the test systems team at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story in Virginia Beach.

This on-site role focuses on the design, integration, and installation of RF data acquisition test systems. Required: BS in engineering/science/technical field and at least 4 years of software development experience, with strong C/C++/Java skills, excellent problem-solving, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Java.
• Ability to travel periodically.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Write code and develop software components and feature integration.
• Manage and evolve the existing codebase.
• Translate technical requirements into implementable solutions.
• Document software requirements and design specifications.
• Provide RF testing including antenna patterns, data links, and related systems.
• Support fleet forces at U.S. homeports and mobile test platforms.
