Job summary

TÜV SÜD America Inc. in New Brighton, MN is seeking an RF Test Engineer to perform RF testing for multiple global markets and conduct compliance evaluations for wireless technologies.

This full-time, onsite role requires hands-on use of RF instruments and collaboration across teams. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year in RF testing, with knowledge of FCC/ETSI standards and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of RF or wireless testing experience.
• Basic RF/EMC/EMI principles understanding.
• Familiarity with wireless standards and tech.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF testing for global markets (North America, EU, Japan).
• Evaluate compliance for wireless transmitters and technologies.
• Test per FCC, ETSI, ICES, EN and other standards.
• Operate spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, EMI receivers, and more.
• Develop test plans and document procedures and data.
• Provide test reports, uncertainty analyses, and methodologies.
