Job summary

TÜV SÜD America, Inc is seeking an EMC / RF Engineer in New Brighton, MN to perform regulatory wireless and EMC testing and to help develop, implement, and maintain test systems and processes.

The role requires knowledge of wireless/RF standards, proficiency with testing equipment, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Travel to client sites up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with wireless/RF communications including Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, 4G and mmWave.
• Proficiency using electronic testing equipment and automation software.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams regarding standards and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform emission and immunity testing per domestic and international standards in a lab setting.
• Prepare and review test reports; provide feedback to improve product quality.
• Stay current with test procedures, instrumentation, and technology through trainings and seminars.
• Maintain knowledge of testing procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Provide guidance to customers on standards, procedures and certification requirements.
