Job summary

TÜV SÜD America Inc. is seeking a motivated RF Test Engineer for the New Brighton, MN location to support regulatory compliance testing for global markets including North America, Europe, and Japan.

You will work under the EMC/RF Lab Manager to perform RF tests, generate documentation, and support customers. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and at least 1 year of RF testing experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/related technical field or equivalent diploma.
• At least 1 year of RF testing, wireless testing, or product certification experience.
• Basic understanding of EMC, EMI, and RF principles and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with wireless technologies and standards.
• Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF testing for intentional and unintentional radiators used in global markets.
• Conduct testing on wireless transmitters for various services.
• Follow testing standards: ETSI, FCC, ICES, EN.
• Operate RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, EMI receivers, etc.).
• Prepare test plans, procedures, reports, and documentation.
