Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an RF test engineer to design and implement test beds using COTS and prototyping components in a collaborative program team. You will define tests, automate procedures, and collect RF data for analysis and internal reporting.

The role requires Linux scripting, Python, MATLAB, and experience with RF hardware, DoD crypto devices, and tactical data links. On-site work in the Boston area is expected with hands-on testing in lab and field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
• Experience with RF hardware and DoD crypto environments preferred.
• Strong Linux, scripting, and network data analysis skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Test bed design and implementation with COTS and prototype components.
• Define and execute tests and automate testing procedures.
• Collect and analyze RF and network performance data.
• Report findings verbally and in writing to the program team.
• Perform lab and OTA tests.
