Job summary

SGS North America Inc. seeks a Sr Test Engineer to lead a multi-client electromagnetic testing lab, overseeing RF, OTA, and EMC testing, and to drive lab operations and client communications. You will mentor engineers, troubleshoot issues, and deliver compliance‑ready test reports and certificates.

The role requires strong EM testing expertise, project management, and clear technical leadership. Location is Lawton, OK with relocation at own cost; eligibility for security clearance may apply.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in RF, OTA, or EMC testing with B.S. or 3–5 years with M.S.
• Strong understanding of RF, OTA, and EMC test principles.
• Experience with RF test equipment and calibration processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own daily lab operations of two large anechoic chambers and RF test equipment.
• Act as technical lead and mentor for a small team of test engineers.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Execute complex RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC measurements per SOPs and standards.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, MATLAB) to optimize test time and data collection.
• Provide engineering support to troubleshoot failures and prepare compliance reports.
