Job summary

Gilat Satellite Networks, including its Wavestream unit, is seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer II to join the Engineering team. You will design RF test benches, automate testing, and support verification and qualification efforts for power amplifier products, working closely with design and operations to ensure robust testing.

The role requires 5+ years of RF test experience, a B.Sc. in EE, and strong proficiency with RF measurements, LabVIEW, and test automation.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of RF test engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of RF power amplifier testing and RF measurements (S-parameters S21, S11, S22, S12) and related metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RF test bench setups and fixtures for manual and automated testing.
• Maintain and improve test configurations for fast-paced design and production of RF power amplifiers.
• Lead Design Verification Testing and provide feedback to engineers.
• Write code and fix bugs to optimize test programs.
• Support Operations with testing and troubleshooting as needed.
• Develop test processes and documentation for Design Verification and Qualification testing.
