Job summary

iRF Solutions in Sparks, MD is seeking a Systems, Integration and Test Engineer (Level 2) for hands-on automated testing of microwave products for government applications. You will help transition products from engineering to manufacturing, calibrating and testing sub-assemblies and documenting test procedures.

Strong LabVIEW and RF test experience required. This full-time onsite role offers a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, with a 9/80 schedule in Sparks, MD and security clearance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with related experience.
  • Alternative: 2 years post-secondary with 6 years related experience.
  • 3 years in automated test engineering, preferably RF/electronics.
  • Programming in LabVIEW and/or C#, C++, VBA, Python for automated testing.

Responsibilities

  • Distill test setup information for automated production testing.
  • Create/modify automated test programs to evaluate performance.
  • Use oscilloscopes, RF generators, network and spectrum analyzers.
  • Review specs and define test strategy to meet requirements.
  • Design multi-level automated test systems aligned with requirements.
  • Develop test documentation from bench to automated acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with engineers to run experiments and analyze data.
  • Maintain schedules and ensure adherence to engineering timelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Associate's degree in electronic engineering technology
