Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking an RF Automated Test Equipment Engineer to design and implement software-based automated test systems for RF assemblies and power distribution units. You will develop scalable, reliable software that interfaces with test equipment in an OO environment, supporting both engineering development and production testing.

This position is open to a range of experience levels; leveling will be based on skills and depth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in RF test, test automation, or embedded systems.
• Experience with object-oriented languages and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test software (C# .NET).
• Create modular, reusable, maintainable code.
• Interface software with RF test equipment via VISA/IVI/SCPI.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality to define tests.
• Develop automated tests for RF performance (Gain, P1dB, NF, IP2/IP3).
• Use Git to manage codebase; document test procedures and software.
• Provide training and support to engineers and production staff.
