Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking an RF Automated Test Equipment Engineer to design and implement software-based automated test systems for RF assemblies and power distribution units. You will build scalable, reliable software that interfaces with test hardware in an OO programming environment, supporting development and production testing.

The role welcomes a range of experience levels; leveling will be based on skills, experience, and depth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• 5–10+ years of RF/test automation/embedded experience.
• Experience with object-oriented languages and test equipment control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test software using C# .NET.
• Interface with RF test equipment using VISA/IVI/SCPI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements.
• Develop automated tests for RF performance parameters.
• Integrate and control test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scopes, etc.).
• Use Git for version control and maintain documentation.
• Provide training and support to engineers and production staff.
