Job summary

Leidos' NISC IV program seeks a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer/Spectrum Engineer to support FAA Spectrum Engineering Services Group (AJW-194) in National Defense and Electronic Attack.

The ideal candidate will have RF/spectrum engineering, EMI/EMC, interference analysis, RF propagation, and geospatial analysis experience. Hybrid role requires on-site work in Washington DC to access an SCIF and handle classified work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in RF/spectrum engineering and related analyses.
• Experience with RF EMI/EMC and interference analysis.
• Ability to interpret RF specifications and geographic parameters.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RF spectrum compatibility and interference analyses for C-UAS systems.
• Evaluate FAA C-UAS test and training requests and provide support.
• Assess NAS impacts and develop mitigation recommendations using RF tools.
• Prepare STA requests using AFM for temporary spectrum operations.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.
