You will perform RF analyses, validate data, and collaborate with federal offices to coordinate assignments while complying with FAA Orders and NTIA Redbook. US citizenship and a security clearance of Secret or higher are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent spectrum management training.
  • 2+ years of radio frequency engineering experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to learn FAA software.
  • US citizen.
  • Security clearance of Secret or higher or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate FAA and non-FAA frequency assignment actions per FAA Orders and NTIA Redbook.
  • Perform RF compatibility analyses using spectrum tools to identify interference among systems.
  • Conduct RF propagation, link-budget, EMC, and interference analyses.
  • Validate technical data for location, equipment, parameters, emission designator, power, bandwidth, and antenna.
  • Collaborate with federal and contractor engineers to advance records through assignment and coordination.
